The Crew

Each WorkoutZone Trainer has a unique skill set and specializes in different aspects of training, but our commitment to our clients remains our absolute key focus and we make sure clients are training with the right trainer to match client needs and personality to trainer skills.

Meghan Smit

Founder & Lead Trainer/ Sport Scientist

Meghan Smit is a qualified Sport Scientist who specializes in Functional training as well as sport-specific strength and conditioning training.

This karate champion has over 20 years of experience in karate training and competition and has patience, care and respect for her clients that’s second to none!

Meghan aims to always lead by example and this is evident in her movement mechanics as well as fitness level. Keeping clients and athletes healthy and injury-free is her main concern and this sets WorkoutZone apart from other ‘gyms. This facility and staff aren’t just focused on results or getting clients to sign up, but to create a culture of consistent training, long-term improvement and ultimately… enjoyment! (Even though she gets some seriously dirty looks and some moaning and groaning ‘during’ training!)

A word of warning, she will push you to your limits and beyond if you just put your faith in her but you will reap the rewards!

Susan Graham

Qualified Personal Trainer

Susan Graham is a qualified personal trainer with a keen interest in science and a love for anything movement-based.

She is interested in a variety of disciplines including functional training, calisthenics, yoga, and running and is driven to help people reach their own personal fitness goals.

Susan is excited by the opportunity at WorkoutZone, where she can apply her knowledge of exercise science – which she continuously strives to develop and improve – to create well-rounded functional training and Calisthenics programs for her clients, while building lasting relationships with them.

Even though Susan can push herself and her clients hard, she also values the motivation and fun that comes with group training. The enjoyment of what you do, and the realisation that you can achieve things you didn’t think possible, is what keeps you coming back for more.

Most of all, Susan believes in the ability of physical activity to bring about significant positive change in people’s lives!
